Books to Go was started
in September 2002 by two young women, Ann
Miller and Karen Boyce. These ladies wanted
to give back to the community and help those
less fortunate than themselves .
They decided on a
bookmobile type organization to go to
nursing homes and shut-ins. Several nursing
homes had indicated that they did not have
enough room for a large donation of books
(which would tend to mean a small library).
